Over the next several years, I also discovered the joy of moving my body, playing sports, and diving into fitness and nutrition, becoming a certified aerobics instructor at age 18 and teaching popular fitness classes to students and teachers at the University of Oklahoma.
I started my college career as a pre-med student and worked in hospitals, health care centers and Big 4 consulting firms as a health care specialist while simultaneously pursuing my passions by teaching fitness classes, personal training, coaching people to run marathons, earning a certificate in plant-based nutrition, and competing in 35+ marathons and dozens of triathlons, including 4 Ironman races.
During those 25 years, I ALSO suffered anxiety, over-disciplined myself into constant fatigue, had a mean voice in my head that was, at times, debilitating, and drank too much alcohol.
In 2017, after years of soul-searching, finding sobriety and the ultimate life-changer, meditation, I left the corporate life and opened a yoga studio. It was time for my own personal transformation!
Today, I create courses, coach, and empower women over 50 on habit change, alcohol-education, plant-based living and bringing energy medicine into their lives to achieve greater health and vitality.
I’ve taught hundreds of courses and thousands of women who, in reality, have taught me too. I’ve developed content and teaching methods that are informed by my experience teaching women and validated by the women whose lives are changed.
My biggest passion is helping women 50+ find a supportive community to learn, grow and find lifelong friendship!
I use time-tested tools and techniques (both ancient wisdom and new science) to teach women to use the fuel they put in their body and their own energy for health, joy and vitality. As a result, each woman becomes her brightest self and achieves her highest potential.
